Motor vehicle collisions

 

Belleville – Police investigated 5 motor vehicle collisions with one resulting in minor injury.

 

Breach of Probation

 

Belleville – After being called to a disturbance in the city’s west end shortly after 9:00 P.M., police arrested and charged 22 year old Belleville resident Daniel Redlarski for breach of probation. No injuries were reported in the incident and Redlarski was released on a promise to appear with a November court date.

 

Assault

 

Belleville – Shortly after 9:30 P.M police attended an east end residence with regards to an assault. As a result of the investigation, a 55 yr old Belleville resident was arrested and charged. He was released on a promise to appear with a November court date on one count of assault. Due to the assault being domestic related the identity of the male is being withheld to protect the victim.

 

Impaired Driver

 

Belleville – After observing a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner at approximately 1:00 A.M northbound on North Front St, police stopped the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver for impaired driving. 36 yr old Tottenham native Robert Boyle was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit and released on a promise to appear with a November court date.

 

Fire

 

Belleville – Police are currently investigating a fire in an east end residence in conjunction with the Fire Marshalls office. The fire broke out shortly after midnight and the scene is currently being held by police. There is no reported injury thus far as a result of the fire. Further details should be released later today.
