Theft of Vehicle

Belleville Ontario, A 2003 Honda Odyssey van, bearing Ontario License BPPJ218 was stolen from a driveway overnight Wednesday.  On Friday morning at approximately 03:30a.m., Quinte West OPP located the vehicle in the Montrose area.  The driver of the vehicle fled on foot.  The OPP canine unit attended and was assisted by members of the Belleville Police Service in establishing a perimeter.  The driver of the stolen vehicle was not apprehended.

Breach of Release Conditions / Breach of Probation

Belleville Ontario, Alexander Williams, 23 years, of Stirling has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of breaching the conditions of his release and one count of breach of probation.  He is being held for a bail hearing later today.
