Bail Violations

On April 7th, at 12:15 a.m., a 17 year old Belleville girl was arrested for breaching conditions of her Bail.  This young person was to abide by a 10:00 p.m. curfew.  She also had a condition ?not to consume alcohol?, which she had breached.  She was held for a Bail Hearing on April 7th on 2 counts of breach of Undertaking. 

Mischief//Bail Violations

On April 7th, at 12:10 a.m., Police responded to the Go Go Club on North Front St. in relation to an unruly male who had broken the glass portion of a door.  This male, who was known to Police, had left the area prior to Police arrival. At 1:15 a.m., this male was arrested by the Stirling-Rawdon Police Service for being intoxicated in a public place in downtown Stirling.  This 23 year old Quinte West man was delivered to Belleville where he faces a long list of charges including: Mischief to Property, four counts of breach of recognizance, and breach of probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing on April 7th.

Impaired Driver

On the 07th of April 2009 at 0915 pm Belleville police received a call from an alert citizen who was following a vehicle south bound on Sidney St. The vehicle was being driven in an erratic manner and the citizen believed the operator might be impaired. Patrol Officers located the vehicle on Sidney St near Dundas but it was not until they reached Bay Bridge Road that the vehicle finally stopped. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and was taken to the station for a breath test which he failed. The 44 year old Picton man face impaired driving and over 80 mgs charges and has a court date of the 14th of May 2009.
