Traffic Enforcement

Belleville, Ontario –On August 6th, 2013, at 9:27 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Airport Parkway after noticing an expired valtag sticker. A further check revealed that the driver's licence was under suspension, and there was no insurance on the vehicle. A 35 year old Stirling woman was charged with "driving while under suspension” and "operate a motor vehicle without insurance”. She will appear in Traffic Court on Sept. 9th, 2013. Her car was towed from the scene.


Belleville, Ontario – On August 6th, 2013, at 7:19 p.m. police attended at a north end grocery store in relation to a shoplifter who had been nabbed by store security. A 40 year old Belleville man was held for a Bail Hearing on a charge of "theft under $5000”. The property, which included meat and produce, was recovered.
