Theft From Motor Vehicles Belleville, Ontario

Officers with the Belleville Police Service are investigating three separate reports of thefts from vehicles left unlocked during the overnight period between June 5th and June 6th. All were reported on June 6th in the afternoon. In the first incident, a vehicle parked at a Lavender Place residence was entered and an older IPOD, a Bluetooth ear piece, and a Garmin GPS were stolen. The second incident also occurred on Lavender Place. A DVD player screen, a tire gauge, a GPS unit, and some Canadian Tire money was taken from a vehicle there.

The third reported theft occurred on Meagher Place and a black and white flower patterned purse and a teal coloured wallet were stolen along with a Tom Tom GPS. The public is again reminded to lock their vehicles when they are left unattended and to never leave valuables in plain view inside.

Anyone with any information about the thefts is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
