Assault with a weapon

Belleville, ON - At approximately 10:40hrs, a male suspect described as; 5’8, 160lbs wearing a black hoody and jeans entered a business on Cannifton Road near College Street East. He attacked the employee with a baseball bat and left the scene on foot. The victim was treated at Belleville General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
