3 held for bail hearings in separate matters

Belleville, Ontario – On August 7th, 2015, at 3:55 p.m. officers checked a male on Front Street and learned that there were outstanding warrants for his arrest. The 51 year old Belleville man was arrested and held for a bail hearing on August 8th, 2015.

On August 7th, 2015, at 6:15 p.m. officers attended on Elgin Street. A 47 year old Belleville man had been consuming alcohol which was a violation of his recognizance. He was arrested and held for bail on a charge of breach of recognizance.

On August 8th, 2015, at 1:20 a.m. police attended in the parking lot of Little Texas on North Front Street in relation to a disturbance.  A check on one of the combatants revealed that he was supposed to be under house arrest. He also had a condition not to consume alcohol. The 20 year old Belleville man was arrested and held for bail on August 8th, 2015 on two counts of breach of a recognizance and two counts of breach of probation. There were no injuries.

3 arrested elsewhere

Belleville, Ontario – On August 7th, 2015, at 1:48 p.m. officers attended at a fast food outlet on North Front Street in relation to a male passed out at a table.  A 54 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

On August 7th, 2015, at 11:55 p.m. police attended in the village of Cannifton on a complaint of an unwanted male. A 34 year old Quinte West man was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.

On August 8th, 2015, at 3:08 a.m. officers attended a disturbance on North Front Street. One male fled on foot but was located on North Park Street. The 23 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
