Belleville, Ontario – On December 7th, 2014, at 11:30 p.m. police attended at the Cabaret bar on Front Street in relation to a woman refusing to leave the premises. A 24 year old Ottawa woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
On December 7th, 2014, at 11:50 p.m. a male attended at the front counter of the Belleville Police Service offering to give the woman in the cells a ride home. The officer could detect that this male had been drinking. It was also revealed that this male had driven to the police station in a vehicle. He was placed on a roadside screening device and registered a ‘warn’. His driver’s licence was suspended for 3 days. The 55 year old Belleville man also had his car towed from the parking lot of the police station.
