Thefts From Vehicle- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 7th of December 2015 at 4:40Pm Belleville Police responded to a complaint of a male entering vehicles on Coleman Street. A citizen was able to direct Police to the male who was located nearby. He was arrested and taken to the station for further investigation. A small quantity of change and other small items were recovered. Joshua Bow Parks 30 yrs., from Belleville, is charged with theft under $5000 and breach probation. He was released on a promise to appear in Belleville Provincial Court for early January 2016. Disturbance- Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 7th of December 2015 at 8:20Pm Belleville Police investigated a disturbance at a Sidney St. residence. Investigation revealed that there had been a minor physical altercation within the residence between two persons. A 19yr old male from Belleville is charged with assault and mischief to property. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Belleville Provincial Court in early January. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

 

Weapons- Assault, Belleville, Ontario

 

On the 8th of December 2015 at 2:20Am Belleville Police investigated a disturbance at a North Front Street business. The investigation revealed that a male had threatened staff at the business while armed with a handgun then fled. Police were able to locate 2 males later in the west end of the city. Both males were arrested and taken to Belleville Police for further investigation. A 21yr old male from Belleville is charged with weapons dangerous (bear spray), using an imitation firearm while committing an offence, utter death threats, assault with a weapon and breach probation. The male was also wanted on outstanding warrants. He is being held for a bail hearing at 1pm today. The second male was released unconditionally.
