Assault

 

Belleville, Ontario On June 7th, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. police attended on Strachan St. in relation to a domestic disturbance.  As a result of an investigation, a warrant has been issued for a 34 year old Belleville man for two counts of assault.  The victim suffered minor injuries.

 

 

On June 7th, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. police attended on Sidney Street in relation to a domestic disturbance.  A 35 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering death threats.  He will appear in court on July 14th, 2014. The victim was not injured.

 

 

 

Disturbance(s)

 

Belleville, Ontario On June 7th, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. police attended on John Street in relation to an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance on the street.  A 21 year old Belleville woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

 

 

On June 7th, 2014, at 8:50 p.m. police attended on Boswell Street in relation to man who witnesses described as "out of control. A 40 year old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace.

 

On June 8th, 2014, at 2:30 a.m. police attended on Harmony Rd. near Hwy 37 in relation to a disturbance.  A 20 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

 

 

On June 8th, 2014, at 4:45 a.m. police attended on Lingham Street in relation to an intoxicated male.  A 59 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

 

 

 

 

 

3 day licence suspension for speeder

 

Belleville, Ontario On June 7th, 2014, at 7:10 p.m. an officer stopped a motorist for speeding on Palmer Road.  A further check revealed that the driver, a 66 year old Marmora man, had been consuming alcohol.  A roadside sample was provided and the driver registered a "warn. His licence was suspended for three days and the car was towed from the scene.  He was also issued a ticket for the speeding infraction.

 

On June 8th, 2014, at 3:51 a.m. an officer stopped a motorist on North Park Street.  The driver, who had been consuming alcohol provided a roadside sample and registered a "warn. Instead of a 3 day suspension, this suspension was a 7 day suspension given that the driver had already experienced a 3 day suspension.  The 20 year old Belleville man also had his car towed.
