Vehicle entered

 

Belleville – A number of vehicles were entered overnight Sunday in the Hillcrest area of town. Among the items stolen were victim’s identification, an I-Pod and cash. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact The Belleville Police Service or Crimestoppers.

Belleville – With the warmer weather approaching, dog owners are being encouraged to take proper care if leaving their pet in a parked vehicle. Owners are reminded that temperatures can rise sharply inside parked cars in a short period of time

 

Mischief

 

Belleville – On the 7th of May shortly after 7:00 P.M. police responded to a disturbance call on Bridge St. W. Investigation revealed that a 15 year old male has smashed out a window in a residence during the course of an argument. The Belleville youth was arrested and released a short time late on an appearance notice charged with one count of mischief under $5000 with a June court date. There were no injuries sustained during the incident. The identity of the accused cannot be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
