Hit & Run Vehicle Located
On November  8th, at 12:15 a.m., several residents on Cascade Drive reported a Hit & Run as a vehicle had struck a fence and failed to remain at the scene. Officers located the vehicle parked on Albany Heights. As a result of an investigation, a 26 year old Belleville man was charged with Failing to Remain at the scene of an accident, and Driving without Insurance. He will appear in Traffic Court in December 2009.

Domestic Assault
On November 8th, at 2:00 a.m., Officers responded to a Domestic Assault in Thurlow Ward. A 45 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged wiht on count of Assault and held for a Bail Hearing. The victim received minor injuries.
Disturbance/Fight Call
On November 8th, at 2:30 a.m. Police responded to a north end parking lot in relation to two males fighting. One male was knocked unconscious. He was transported to Quinte Health Care by EMS. A 26 year old Belleville man was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Harm. This investigation is continuing.

Break and Enter
Belleville, Ont. ? On November 8, 2009 at 12:41 p.m., Police attended at a restaurant on Dundas Street West in response to a break and enter via a rear window. A 32 inch RCA flat screen television was stolen. This investigation is ongoing.

Theft from Motor Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On November 8, 2009 at 5:43 p.m. a city resident reported that she left her vehicle in the parking lot of a Victoria Avenue business during the afternoon when unknown person(s) entered the vehicle and stole her red Samsung cell phone contained in a black case and some loose change.

Police are reminding citizens to lock their vehicles at all times.
