Belleville Police and Belleville Fire attended a Geddes St address for a structure fire. Luckily no one was inside the residence at the time. Crews remained on scene until the fire was out and traffic could be reopened to the public. At this time it is not considered suspicious and damage estimate is not known.
Police were called to a North Front Street business around 1:20am for a patron refusing to leave the premises. It was determined the individual consumed too much alcohol and was unable to take care of himself. He was arrested under the Liquor License Act for being intoxicated in a public place.
Police were called to a disturbance at Prince of Wales Dr and Donald St for a family dispute at 2am. Having too much turkey and alcohol resulted in an argument between brothers which couldn’t be resolved without police intervention. Both were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place for their own protection.
