Breach of Conditions

In the early afternoon of 8 December 2015, police attended a North Front St establishment regarding a complaint that one of the occupants was in breach of his court conditions. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 45 year old Belleville resident. The male was held in police custody pending a show cause hearing on 9 December 2015 and has been subsequently charged with 3 counts of Breach of a Recognizance.

In the early morning of 9 December 2015, police attended a North Front St address in regards to complaint of a possible impaired driver. The driver of the vehicle was located by police. The male suspect was arrested for his own safety under the Liquor Licence Act. Police later learned that the male party had provided a false name to the investigating officer. As a result the 32 year old male was held in custody for a show cause hearing and charged with obstructing justice, breach of an undertaking, and breach of probation.
