Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 10:50 am on June 8, 2014 police attended at an Emily Street residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 12:00 pm on June 7th and 10:30 am on June 8th the residence was entered through an unlocked door. An Acer laptop computer was reported stolen from inside the home. The model number is E1-531-4624 and the serial number is 886541777249. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 At approximately 9:01pm on June 8, 2014 police were contacted by a person reporting that his I-Phone had been stolen after he had left it on a table at West Zwicks Island. The victim provided a description of a suspect observed nearby and also used his phone locator app to trace the location of the stolen phone. Officers were able to pinpoint its location to an address on Byron Street and the investigation led to the recovery of the phone and the arrest of the suspect. John Hennessey, 47, of Belleville was charged with one count of Theft Under $5000. He was released at the scene on an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 10, 2014.
