Break and Enter – Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 11:36 am on May 8, 2014 police were called to a Moira Street East residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 8:30 am – 11:30 am entry was gained through a set of patio doors. A wallet containing the complainant’s identification and a quantity of cash was stolen. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Drugs – Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 8:25 pm on May 8, 2014 officers on routine patrol checked a suspicious vehicle in the Don Harr parking lot on Front Street. They found that the occupants of the vehicle had open alcohol with them and a subsequent search led to the discovery of a quantity of marijuana that had been packaged in small amounts for re-sale. A male suspect was arrested for the drugs and was also found to have been placed on probation as a result of Theft conviction. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service and later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of June 5, 2014. Lucas Humber, aged 21, of Kingston faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breach of Probation.
