Impaired  - Belleville Ontario.

 

On the 8th November 2014 at 815 pm police responded to an accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian. Investigation revealed the a 26 year female who resides in Trenton was struck by a motor vehicle as she was crossing Sidney street, near Shoppers Drug Mart. The driver of the vehicle was a 45 year Belleville man who was arrested for having over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. The accident is still under investigation, no charges have been laid at this time. The injuries to the pedestrian have not been determine at this time

 

 

On the 08th November 2014 at 1114 pm police were called to a restaurant in the north end of the City, regarding a male driving through the drive thru with beer on his lap. The driver was stopped on North Front street. The driver, a 31 year old Picton resident, was arrested for having over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. The male was later charged with the over 80 mgs  and given a court date of 27thNovember 2014.
