Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, Ontario – On November 8th, 2015, at 11:05 a.m. a 23 year old Belleville man was arrested on outstanding warrants.  The charge was breach of a recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing on November 9th, 2015.

Impaired Driver

Belleville, Ontario – On November 8th, 2015, at 10:20 p.m. a motorist called 911 to report an impaired driver. The motorist had observed a car weaving across both eastbound lanes of Dundas Street East. At one point the car entered the ditch but the car continued east. The car was stopped by police at the Bayview Mall.  The driver was arrested for impaired driving. Once at the station he refused to provide breath samples. A 56-year old Kingston man was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide breath samples. He will appear in court on November 19th, 2015. His car was impounded for 7 days and his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
