Impaired Driver

 

Belleville, Ontario – On November 8th, 2017, at 4:38 p.m. several calls were received about an impaired driver in Foxboro. Officers located the vehicle on Hwy 62 and the car was stopped. Investigation led to the arrest of the driver for impaired driving. 60-year-old Lester Bissett of Foxboro was charged with impaired driving and over 80 mgs. He will appear in court on November 23rd, 2017. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his car was impounded for 7 days.

 

 

Escape lawful custody

 

Belleville, Ontario – On November 8th, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. police attended in the City’s north end in relation to a shoplifter who had escaped from store security. During the course of the investigation the 19-year-old Belleville man surrendered to Police. He was charged with theft under $5000.00, escape lawful custody, and breach of probation. He will appear in court on December 14th, 2017. No one was injured during the incident.

 

 

Stunt Driving

 

Belleville, Ontario – On November 8th, 2017, at 6:55 p.m. an officer was conducting radar duties on Airport Parkway. The officer clocked a vehicle at 131 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone. The 74-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving and will appear in Traffic Court on December 4th, 2017. His licence was suspended for 7 days and his car was impounded for 7 days.
