Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from the 30th of November 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 1st of December 2019 at 5:00 am

Domestic assault

Belleville, ON – On the 30th of November at 1:15 pm, police responded to a north end apartment complex with regards to a domestic dispute where a 35-year-old Belleville female reportedly cut herself with a knife. She then attacked a male, with the knife, who was in the residence and threatened to kill him on numerous occasions. She then proceeded to the parking lot where she began damaging the male’s truck. She was arrested for assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, uttering threats of death and mischief. She is being held in custody to appear before a Justice of the Peace via video remand on the 1st of December. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
