Accident – minor injuries
Belleville, Ontario – On May 31st, 2012, at 3:22 p.m., Police attended a two-car accident on the north side of the overpass on Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd. at West Moira St.
A 60 year old Trenton man was charged with "failing to drive in marked lane”. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Belleville, Ontario –On May 31st, 2012, at 3:00 p.m., Police attended at a west hill residence in relation to a Domestic Disturbance. A 35 year old Belleville man was arrested for an assault on an adult woman. Further investigation revealed that another assault had occurred two weeks earlier. In the earlier incident, the woman had been assaulted and placed in a closet by the accused. She was confined in the closet for a five-minute period. The accused was held for a Bail Hearing on June 1st on two counts of Assault and one count of Forcible Confinement. The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
Belleville, Ontario – On June 1st, 2012, at 1:45 a.m., Police responded to several disturbances in a parking lot on Bell Blvd. An intoxicated male who was attempting to start fights was arrested for his own protection. A search of this male revealed a cell phone. This male had several conditions imposed upon him during a previous release. One of these conditions specified "not to possess a cell phone”. The 22 year old Belleville man was charged with Breach of an Undertaking and held for a Bail Hearing on June 1st.
Belleville, Ontario – On June 1st, 2012, at 12:40 a.m., Police attended at a north end bar in relation to a group of males who had been removed from the bar. A 22 year old Brighton man was arrested for "Failing to leave premises when directed” under the Trespass to Property Act.
At 2:36 a.m., a large fight was reported on N. Front St. The group was dispersed.
At 2:43 a.m., a large fight was reported on Bell Blvd. The group was dispersed.
At 2:49 a.m., a large crowd was causing a problem at Bridge St. West at Yeomans St.. This group was "playfighting” and sent on their way.
