Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario On August 31, 2012 at 10:20 pm, police responded to a residence on Russell Street in regards to a break and enter. Sometime between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked patio door and stole various electronics. This investigation is continuing.

Attempt Theft

Belleville, Ontario On August 31, 2012 at 11:33 pm, police responded to a call of a male attempting to steal a bicycle from the backyard of a residence on Wellington Crescent. The homeowner observed the male then break into the neighbor's shed. Police attended in the area but were unable to locate the male suspect who was described as between 35- 40 years of age, bald, wearing a white shirt with pinstripes and white shorts. A check of both residences revealed the suspect was unable to steal any property.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario On August 31, 2012 at 11:36 pm, police responded to a residence on Emily Street in regards to a mischief. The complainant heard a loud popping sound and observed that the back window of her vehicle had been smashed. Police investigation revealed that a pellet or bb gun was used to damage the complainant's vehicle. Two male suspects between the ages of 16 18 years of age were observed in the area at the time. Police checked the area but were unable to locate these two males.
