Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On 9 December, 2010, at 11:07 p.m., police attended at a residence on Ridley Street in response to a break and enter. The resident reported that between 7:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole electronics. This investigation is ongoing.

Weapons/Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? On 9 December, 2010 at 9:52 p.m., police attended at a residential complex on Haig Road in response to a complaint of male running in the hallway with a gun in hand. At 10:02 p.m., police received a complaint about a male walking across the top of Front Street with a handgun. Investigation of these complaints resulted in the arrest of 32 year old Belleville man and the seizure of a replica of a handgun (commonly known as a pellet gun). The male has been charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Weapons Dangerous, Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle and Failure to Provide a Breath Sample and will appear in Provincial Court on 10 December, 2010 for a bail hearing.
