Domestic Dispute Belleville, Ontario. On the 8th of January 2014 at 9Am Police investigated a domestic dispute in the area of Bridge St West and Coleman Street. A male and female were involved in a physical confrontation inside a vehicle. The male fled the scene prior to Police arrival. The investigation has resulted in a 41 year old male from the Belleville area being arrested on the 9th of January and held for bail. The male is charged with 5 counts of assault, 2 counts of forcible confinement, 3 counts of mischief and one count of break and enter. Motor Vehicle Collisions Belleville, Ontario. On the 9th t of January 2014 at 1:30Pm Belleville Police Service investigated a 2 car motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Pinnacle Street. Both vehicles received substantial damage when one driver failed to stop for a red light and the vehicle collided. A 79 year old female was charged disobeying a red light. There were no injuries reported.

Theft- Belleville, Ontario. On the 9th of January 2014 at 3:10Pm Belleville Police investigated the theft of a Sony digital camera from a North Front Street business. A male suspect removed the camera then fled the business. The male is described as Caucasian, approximately 40 years, shaggy hair, with a red beard, and wearing a red jacket with pin stripes.
