Robbery
At 5:00pm on July 9th, 2017 police attended the Rexall Pharmacy on Dundas Street East with regard to a robbery. A Caucasian male wearing camo ball-cap , black shirt, blue jeans, beige jacket and an orange scarf around his face entered the store brandishing a butcher knife. The suspect stole a large quantity of narcotics and fled the scene on foot heading westbound. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Quinte Crime Stoppers
Warrants
At 1:00pm on July 9th, 2017 police arrested 32 year old Ryan Begg of Belleville on outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court and for fingerprints. Begg will appear in Belleville Court tomorrow for a Bail Hearing.
MVC – Personal Injury
At 3:15pm on July 9th, 2017 police attended the intersection of Dundas St and Front St with regard to a collision involving a vehicle and cyclist. The cyclist was taken to Kingston General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is on-going.
