Obstruct Police

Belleville, Ont. ? On February 10, 2010, police responded to a family dispute in the east end of the City. An argument was initiated between a 15 year old female and her mother. While police were attempting resolve this family dispute the boyfriend of the 15 year old became upset with the options put forward to the family by the police. The male became angry and attempted to interfere with police. The male was arrested for a Obstruct Police. An 18 year old Belleville male was charged with Obstruct Police and Resisting Arrest. He was subsequently released on a Promise to Appear with a February 2010 court date. The name of this male will not be released as to protect the identity of the young female associated to this incident.

Utter Threats (Domestic)

Belleville, Ont. ? On February 10, 2010, police responded to a north end home regarding an assault. Information was received that a husband and wife had become involved in a verbal dispute. It is alleged the male made threats to harm the victim and her co workers. The 55 year old male was arrested for Utter Threats to Cause Death. He was later released with a court date set for March 2010. The name of the accused will not be released as to protect the name of the victim.
