Missing Person - LOCATED

The Belleville Police Service would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this missing person investigation. Beth VESTERFELT returned home and is in the care of her family. Police are in the process of concluding this investigation however greatly appreciates the response they received from the community and media which assisted in a successful conclusion of this case.

Missing Person ? Beth Vesterfelt

Police are seeking the assistance from the public in locating a missing person.

Missing is Beth VESTERFELT, 11 years old, 5', 50 lbs, brown shoulder length hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing pink shorts, black t-shirt with guitars depicted on the front and flip flops.

Beth VESTERFELT was last seen by family members at approximately 5:00 p.m. walking toward Meyers Street. She was alone at that time.

When Beth did not arrive home for her curfew (9:00 p.m.) her family did a preliminary search for her in the neighbourhood. Police were called at 10:20 p.m. and immediately started searching for this missing person.

Further investigation revealed Beth had been last seen riding her bike by friends at 7:00 p.m. in the area of Russell Street. Her bike is described as purple with white tires.

To date police have interviewed several potential witnesses, canvassed the neighborhood and are currently following up on all information received.
