Belleville, Ontario On June 9th, 2012, at 3:15 p.m., Police attended at a on Boswell Street in response to . Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry and stole . This investigation is ongoing.

Stolen vehicle 5 youths charged

Belleville, Ontario - On June 9th, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. Police responded to Cannifton Road in relation a suspicious vehicle which was parked. A check revealed that the truck had been reported stolen on June 8th from a Youth facility in Central Frontenac Township. Three young persons were also reported missing from this facility. Officers followed up on a lead on Marsh Drive and located the missing trio. An 18 year old Quinte West man was arrested after a foot chase. The investigation revealed that the trio had also stolen a flat screen TV and a WII system from the Youth Facility. Both items were recovered by Police and a total of five people were arrested. Two 17 year old males and a 15 year old female from Central Frontenac Township were charged with two counts of theft, two counts of possession of stolen property and breach of probation. A 16 year Belleville male was charged with one count of possession of stolen property. All four will appear in Youth Court on July 10th. An 18 year old Quinte West man was also charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and one count of mischief. Brandon French will appear in Court on July 12th.

Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario On June 10th, 2012, at 2:30 a.m., Police responded to the parking lot of 366 North Front St. in response to a fight call. Upon arrival, Police observed approximately 75 people milling about, with three fights breaking out. The disturbances were quelled, and a 21 year old Quinte West man was arrested for public intoxication.

On June 10th, 2012, at 2:45 a.m. Police responded to the parking lot of 305 North Front St. in response to a fight call. Two males were unconscious on the ground, and two ambulances were dispatched. Both males were transported to BGH for treatment. A follow-up revealed that they suffered minor injuries.

On June 10th, 2012, at 3:30 a.m., Police attended on North Front St. at Valleyview Cres in response to a male who had fallen on the roadway. A bicycle was located nearby, and it was determined that the intoxicated male had simply toppled off of his bicycle. An ambulance transported him to BGH for head and shoulder injuries.
