Belleville, Ontario On 9 June, 2013 police received 3 reports of mischief to property that occurred overnight from 8 to 9 June, 2013.  The incidents took place on Dufferin Avenue, Foster Aveand Dundas Street East.  The incidents range from damage to planters, damage to a vehicle and damage to building (broken windows).

Belleville Police Service is reminding the public to report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activities to police.


Utter Threats & Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest


Belleville, Ontario On 10 June, 2013 at 0117 a.m., police attended at a residence on Progress Avenue in response to a report of domestic disturbance.  It is alleged that the male resident threatened death to the female resident and upon police arrival the male fled the residence.  The male was apprehended and during the arrest the male attempted to avoid being arrested by assaulting the police.  The male involved in this incident is 27 year old male who resides in Stirling.  This male will appear for a bail hearing on 10 June, 2013.




Belleville, Ontario on 10 June, 2013 at 02:19 a.m., police attended at a business on Bridge Street West in response to a report of an intoxicated male screaming and causing a disturbance.  Investigation of this incident resulted in the male that was causing the disturbance being charged with 4 counts of breaching probation conditions and one count of being in possession of a controlled substance (marihuana).  This 20 year old Bellevillemale is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 18 July 2013.
