Impaired Driver Belleville, Ontario


 At approximately 9:34 pm on June 9, 2014 police were contacted by a motorist involved in a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Coleman Street and Moira Street West. The complainant had been stopped at the intersection and was struck from behind by another vehicle that left the scene. He then followed the suspect vehicle and contacted police who eventually caught up to them at a North Front Street parking lot. The female driver of the suspect vehicle was found to have been drinking and failed a roadside test. She was brought to a police facility and provided samples of her breath that confirmed she was over the legal limit. Ashley Waye, aged 31, of Belleville faces a single charge over Over 80MG. She was later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of July 10, 2014.


Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario


  At approximately 12:23 am on June 10, 2014 police were called to a Ridley Street West residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 4:30 pm and 12:15 am unknown person(s) entered the home by forcing open a rear window. A Sony PS4 gaming system and a quantity of ball caps were reported stolen. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information is asked to the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
