Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

 

  At approximately 8:10 pm on December 6, 2013 police were called to attend a Gavey Road residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 1:00 pm on November 30th and 8:00 pm on December 6th unknown person(s) broke into the home through a rear basement window. A large quantity of jewelry, several long guns, a baritone saxophone, and two alto saxophones were reported stolen. The Belleville Police Service Forensic Identification Unit was called in to assist in the investigation which is ongoing. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime stoppers.

Break, Enter and Theft - Belleville, Ontario  10 March 2014.

 

The Belleville Police Service began an investigation in December 2013, resulting in a criminal charge against a Belleville woman.  28-year old Katherine Patricia Elliott was arrested by Police and charged with:

 

      1 count of breaking, entering and committing the indictable offence of theft,

      1 count of possessing stolen property. 

 

Elliott has been released on a Promise-To -Appear in court on March 27th, 2014 on both charges. 

 

A co-accused, 42-year old Leonard Richard Pattison, also of Belleville is wanted on an arrest warrant for breaking, entering and committing the indictable offence of theft in relation to a large amount of property being stolen from a north Belleville home.   Some of the property has been recovered, the firearms are still outstanding.
