Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 8, 2010 at 2:30 a.m., police responded to an alarm call at a business on Front Street. While the police and owners' were investigating the source of the alarm a break and enter was discovered. Further investigation lead to the discovery of a male inside the business. This male was arrested for one count of break and enter and will appear in Provincial court on 10 May, 2010 for a bail hearing.


Belleville, Ontario ? From May 7, 2010 to May 9, 2010 police responded to 5 incidents of mischief that occurred throughout the City.
Wilson Avenue ? Sometime overnight on 6 to 7 May unknown person(s) spray painted the exterior wall of a business.
Front Street, Tracey Street, Dundas Street West, North Front Street were locations where parked vehicles were the target of smashed windows and breaking of side mirrors. These investigations are ongoing.

Theft from Vehicles

Belleville, Ontario ? From May 8, 2010 to May 9, 2010, police responded to 5 incidents of thefts from motor vehicles. These thefts were reported from residents on Lynndale Crescent, Bogart Crescent, Keller Drive, Sherwood Crescent and Front Street. Items stolen include a GPS, sunglasses, credit cards and money. These investigations are ongoing.
