Accidents
Belleville, Ontario – On May 9th, 2015, police attended at 6 accident scenes. Five of the accidents were minor in nature. At 3:50 p.m. police attended on Sidney Street south of Bridge in relation to a two-car accident. An 86 year old Belleville woman was charged with making an unsafe lane change. The other driver reported minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
3-day licence suspensions
Belleville, Ontario – On May 9th, 2015, a total of 3 motorists were issued with 3-day licence suspensions and had their cars towed.
At 11:47 a.m. a 27 year old Belleville man had his licence seized as a result of a traffic stop on Blessington Road
At 4:22 p.m. a 48 year old Belleville man had his licence seized as a result of a traffic stop on Old Hwy 2
At 5:50 p.m. a 24 year old Belleville man had his licence seized as a result of a traffic stop on W. Moira St.
Disturbances
Belleville, Ontario – On May 9th, 2015, at 7:25 p.m. police attended at Carleton Cove in relation to a disturbance. A 28 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
On May 9th, 2015, at 8:35 p.m. police attended on Wallbridge Crescent as a large fight had broken out. One caller advised that one of the males had a knife. A 40 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. No one was injured.
On May 9th, 2015, at 8:45 p.m. police attended on Dunbar St. in relation to a campfire behind an apartment complex. A 59 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
