Theft of Gas

Belleville, Ont, On 09 Sept 2019 at 1045 am officers attended at the CAA sports center in regards to a theft of gas. Upon arrival officers received information from the victim that someone had drilled a hole in his gas tank, and removed the gas. This type of incident has also occurred in local Car Pool areas. The investigation is continuing and police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity in these areas.


Traffic Stop

Belleville Ont, At 1215 am an officer on patrol observed a vehicle on College St W being driven by a female who he knew was prohibited from driving. The vehicle was stopped and the female was arrested. As result of the traffic stop a small quantity of Cocaine was located. Joy Anne MacRae a 51 yr old Belleville resident was charged with operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, fail to comply with an officer in charge undertaking, possession of stolen property under 5000.00 dollars, and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. She was released on a Promise to Appear and an additional officer in charge undertaking. The accused has a court date in October.
