The Belleville Police Service responded to 89 calls for service between April 9th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and April 10th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, Ontario - On the 9th of April 2019 at 11:00 a.m., Belleville Police were contacted by Peterborough Police and were advised that they had a male by the name of Dustin Barnett in custody.  The male was wanted on an arrest warrant from Belleville for break and enter x2 and fail to attend court. He was transported to Belleville and held for a bail hearing.

Intoxicated persons

Belleville, Ontario – On the 9th of April 2019 at 6:46 p.m., Belleville Police responded to an apartment building in the east end of the City regarding a male acting out in the hallways. A 41 year-old male was arrested and charged for being intoxicated in a common area under the Liquor Licence Act and was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was lodged into cells for his own safety until sober.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, Ontario – The Belleville Police Service responded to seven motor vehicle collisions throughout the City. The collisions resulted in minor property damages and no injuries were reported.
