Police responded to 71 calls for service between December 10th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and December 11th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrested on warrants

Belleville, ON – On December 10th, 2019, police attended at a bank machine on North Front Street as a male was sleeping on the floor. A check revealed that the 42-year-old man had a warrant for his arrest for breaching his probation. Paul Laroche-Davidson was held for a bail hearing on December 10th, 2019.

Arson charge

Belleville, ON – On October 14th, 2019, at 11:05 p.m. police responded to a fire at Value Village on Bell Blvd. Upon arrival police observed a trailer parked at the rear of the business which was fully engulfed in flames. The investigation was continued by the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigations Division. As a result of the investigation, 37-year-old Justin Nadon of Belleville was arrested on December 5th, 2019. Nadon was charged with Arson and one count of Mischief over $5000.00. He will appear in court on January 9th, 2020.

Disturbance

Belleville, ON – On December 10th, 2019, at 11:52 a.m. police attended on Orchard Drive regarding a disturbance. A 14-year-old youth was arrested and charged with assault, mischief under $5000.00, resist arrest and breach of a recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing on December 11th, 2019. His name will not be released.

Shoplifter

Belleville, ON – On December 10th, 2019, at 9:37 p.m. police attended on Millenium Parkway in relation to a shoplifter who had run off from store security. An off-duty police officer witnessed this and was able to direct the officers to the location of the male. A 46-year-old Kingston man was arrested without incident. He was charged with Theft under $5000.00 and will appear in court on January 9th, 2020.
