Warrants- Belleville On
On the 10th day of December 2014 at 2:00 pm police arrested a Jake Stevens without incident on Front Street. Stevens had outstanding warrants held by Durham Regional Police. Stevens was held at the Belleville Police Service until Durham regional Police could attend to pick him up.
Accidents – Belleville On
There were seven accidents reported to police, since the snow started to fly. Police attended the collisions and there were no reports of any injuries. Police remind drivers to drive carefully on the roads today. The roads are slippery.
Domestic Assault-Belleville On
On the 10th day of December 2014 at 11:00 pm police attended a residence on Mary Street regarding a domestic situation. Police conducted an investigation and as a result of their findings, a 53 year Marmora man was arrested and charged with one count of assault. There were minor injuries to the victim. The male will be answering the charges on the 26th January 2015 in Belleville Provincial Court
