Fail to Stop

On the 10th of December 2017 at approx. 1855hrs, police responded to a driving complaint in the east end of Belleville.  The suspect vehicle was located and when the officer attempted to pull over the vehicle, it sped off in a dangerous manner crossing into the oncoming lanes trying to avoid the police.  A short pursuit ensued and was called off due to public safety concerns.   After a full police investigation, the identity of the driver was determined to be a male out of Kingston Ontario.  A warrant will be issued for his arrest for charges ranging from Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, breach of probation, using licence plates not authorized for the vehicle and driving while his licence was under suspension.
