Assault

Belleville, Ontario – On June 10th, 2015, at 4:15 p.m. police arrested a 54 year old Belleville man for one count of assault in relation to a June 9th incident in Thurlow ward.

He was released with a courtdate of June 22nd, 2015. The victim did not require medical attention for minor injuries.

Threats//Bail violations

Belleville, Ontario – On June 10th, 2015, at 6:55 p.m. police arrested a 23 year old Belleville woman after a complaint of threatening that occurred on Tracey Park Drive. She was also charged with breach of an undertaking and committing an indecent act.  She was held for a bail hearing on June 11th, 2015.

Criminal Harassment

Belleville, Ontario – On June 10th, 2015, at 7:10 p.m. police arrested a 42 year old Belleville man after a disturbance in a north end store. He was charged with criminal harassment and causing a disturbance. He was held for a bail hearing on June 11th, 2015. No one was injured in this incident.

 

 

Accidents

Belleville, Ontario – On June 10th, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. police attended on Bell Blvd in relation to a two-car accident. One of the drivers was charged with failing to yield from a private driveway. There were no injuries.

On June 10th, 2015, at 2:45 p.m. police attended on West Moira Street at Avonlough Road in relation to a two-car accident. Belleville Fire Dept. and EMS attended to treat the occupants. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  One of the drivers was charged with careless driving.

On June 10th, 2015, at 10:25 p.m. police attended on Sidney Street south of Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car accident.  One of the drivers was charged with making an unsafe lane change.  No one was injured.

Traffic Stop

Belleville, Ontario – On June 10th, 2015, at 10:33 a.m. an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Dundas Street West in relation to expired plates. A further check revealed that the 31 year old Belleville man was also a suspended driver. He will appear in Traffic court later this month.
