Impaired Operation

Belleville, Ontario ? On 11 November, 2011 at 12:48 a.m., an officer on routine patrol observed a motor vehicle being driven erratically northbound on North Front Street near the Bell Blvd intersection.

The vehicle was stopped just north of the 401 on Highway #62. The driver of this vehicle has been charged with one count of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and one count of Failing to Provide a Breath Sample. Gordon Hadden (34 years) of Belleville is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on 1 December, 2011.

Suspicious Male/Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? On 10 November 2011 at 6:15 p.m., police responded to a call for a suspicious male. This male, only described as wearing a red ball cap with long dark curly hair, was observed to be sitting in a car on Pine Street acting in a peculiar manner. When he was noticed, he drove away along Pine Street. The vehicle is described as gold in colour, had rectangular headlights, and the chrome fog lights had holes in them. The vehicle was last seen going eastbound on Pine Street. If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the Belleville Police Service or Crimestoppers.

Drug Warrant and Arrest

Belleville, Ontario ? On November 11th, 2011 at 9:15 AM the Belleville Police Drug Unit assisted by the Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a Dundas Street East home. The execution of the search warrant resulted in one female being arrested and held for a show cause hearing November 14th, 2011. The name of the female is not being released at this time.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance For The Purpose of Trafficking ? 2 Counts and

                  Breach of an Officer-in-Charge Undertaking ? 2 Counts.

Seized: $8000.00 worth of cocaine, $500.00 worth of marijuana
