Belleville, Ont. ? On October 11, 2009, at approximately 2:50 a.m., police were called to Maple Drive to investigate a report of a suspicious person. On arrival, they located the suspect driving and he was found to have been consuming alcohol. He subsequently blew a ?fail? on a roadside breathalyzer and was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he once again blew a fail. Charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Over 80MG of alcohol per 100ML of Blood is a 26 year old Deseronto man. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of November 19, 2009.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 11, 2009, at approximately 3:08 a.m. officers were called to a Station Street residence to investigate a report of a female youth threatening a person with a knife. On arrival, police located the intoxicated suspect. Further investigation revealed she had numerous outstanding charges and had been released with conditions not to communicate with that person, not to attend at that address, and not to consume alcohol. A 17 year old female was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. The youth cannot be identified under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. She was held for a Bail Hearing on October 13, 2009 charged with Assault with a Weapon and three counts of Breach of Undertaking.
