Belleville, Ontario – On October 10th, 2016, at 3:46 p.m. police received a call about a group of males chasing another male on North Front Street with baseball bats. Officers located a car on North Park Street with two male occupants. Inside the car was an open backpack with a large amount of marijuana. Both males were arrested as a third male approached on foot. A second backpack was located in the car which also contained marijuana. Three baseball bats were also seized from the car. The marijuana weighed just under 400 grams. A large quantity of cash was also seized as proceeds as crime. All three were charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, weapons dangerous, and proceeds of crime. Two of the males were adults – an 18-year old Trenton man and a 20-year old Belleville man. Both will appear in court on November 17th. The third male, a 17-year old youth, will appear in Youth Court on November 15th. No one was injured in this incident.
Belleville, Ontario – On October 10th, 2016, at 9:41 p.m. an adult male reported that he had been robbed by two males on Station Street at Stokes Street. No weapon was produced and a small amount of cash was taken. Both suspects were disguised as they had zip-up hoodies covering their faces. They were last seen crossing the Moira River on the footbridge to East Moira Street. The suspects are described as follows:
#1 White male, late teens/early 20’s, 6’1” thin build. The zip-up hoodie was mesh and had an orange border around the face
#2 White male, late teens/early 20’s, 5’10” medium build. The zip-up hoodie had a skull design on it.

3-day licence suspension
Belleville, Ontario – On October 11th, 2016, at 12:07 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Bridge Street East at Albert Street. A 37-year old Belleville woman registered a “warn” after providing a breath sample into a roadside screening device. Her licence was suspended for three days.
