Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario.

At approximately 1:33 pm on September 10, 2013 police were called to a Victoria Avenue residence to investigate a report of a break and enter. Sometime between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm unknown person(s) broke in by forcing a rear door open. A quantity of jewelry and US currency was reportedly stolen. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Attempted Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 1:44 pm on September 10, 2013 police were called to a residence on Pinegrove Court to investigate a report of an attempted break and enter. The homeowner reported that sometime during the overnight period from September 9th September 10th the screws had been removed from a window in the back yard however no entry had been gained to the house. The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information about this occurrence is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Disturbance Belleville, Ontario

At approximately 1:07 am on September 11, 2013 officers were called to a North Front Street restaurant to investigate a report of a male suspect causing a disturbance and challenging other persons to fight. He was located nearby and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for his own protection and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was later released on a Provincial Offences Notice. A 26 year old man from Aurora, Ontario faces a charge of Public Intoxication.
