TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Belleville, Ontario

On Saturday June 13th the City of Belleville will be hosting a provincial meeting of the Shriner’s Club known as the Shrine Ceremonial. The festivities will open with a large parade leaving the parking lot of Quinte Secondary School at 1:30 pm and ending approximately 3:00 pm at the Yardman Arena parking lot. The parade route will travel east on College Street, north on North Park Street, then east on Belle Blvd. From there they will turn south on Cannifton Road then turn east into the parking lot at the Yardman. Officers with the Belleville Police will be assisting with traffic control at the various intersections, however there will be significant traffic delays as the parade winds through that area of the city. Motorists are advised to consider using alternate routes on Saturday to avoid any unnecessary delays.
