Belleville, Ontario –On April 11th, 2014, at 5:15 p.m. 25 year old Adam Leblanc was arrested on Front Street on the strength of outstanding warrants for sexual assault and breach of probation.  He was held for a bail hearing on April 12th, 2014.






Belleville, Ontario – On April 11th, 2014 police responded to 4 accidents.


At 10:30 a.m. a minor accident was reported in a parking lot on Millenium Drive.


At 3:23 p.m. police attended at Cannifton Rd and College St. East in relation to a hit and run accident. The hit and run vehicle was located a short distance away and the investigation is continuing.


At 5:58 p.m. police attended at Cannifton Rd and Adam St. in relation to a two-car accident. One of the passengers was treated by EMS for minor injuries.  A 67 year old Perth woman was charged with failing to yield to traffic.


At 6:02 p.m. police attended at Wallbridge-Loyalist Rd. and Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car accident.  One of the drivers suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.  A 40 year old Kingston man was charged with "following too close”.




Stolen vehicle recovered


Belleville, Ontario – On April 11th, 2014, at 12:55 p.m. an officer on patrol observed a Hyundai Santa Fe on Catharine St.  This vehicle had been reported stolen in Milton in Halton Region on April 10th.  The vehicle was stopped and a 23 year old Belleville woman was arrested.  Audrey McLellan will appear in court on May 1st, 2014 on a charge of possession of stolen property over $5000.00




Stolen 4-wheeler


Belleville, Ontario – On April 11th, 2014, at 6:45 p.m. police attended in Foxboro in relation to a stolen 4-wheeler.  The homeowner reported that between April 7th – 11th a blue 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 4 wheeler had been stolen from the property. The ATV had the licence plate # 95FL6 attached to it.




Intoxicated person


Belleville, Ontario – On April 12th, 2014 at 2:05 a.m. police attended on North Front St. and arrested a 45 year old Belleville woman.  She was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.


On April 12th, 2014, at 3:35 a.m. police attended at an apartment building on West Moira Street in relation to a male sleeping in the stairwell.  A 30 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.
