Dangerous Drive/Fail to Remain

Belleville ON – At 8:30am on December 11^th, 2016 police investigated a single motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle had struck a pole on Pine Street near Albion Street. The vehicle was heavily damaged and the driver fled the scene in his vehicle. Police located the vehicle and driver and 40 year old Shawn Conley of Belleville was arrested and charged with Dangerous Drive, Fail to Remain, Obstruct Peace Officer and Fail to Report. The male was later released with a court date in the New Year.
