Arrest on warrant
Belleville, Ontario – On February 11th, 2017, at 1:56 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Pinnacle Street. A check revealed that the driver had outstanding warrants with the Peterborough Police Service. The 26-year-old Milford man was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He was turned over to escort officers from Peterborough.
Disturbances
Belleville, Ontario – On February 11th, 2017, at 10:09 p.m. officers attended at a home in the west end regarding a family problem. A 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. No one was injured. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
On February 11th, 2017, at 10:23 p.m. officers attended at an apartment building on College Street East regarding a disturbance. All parties were separated at this point. Police were called back a second time in relation to another disturbance. A 53-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. Alcohol was a factor in this incident. There were no injuries.
On February 12th, 2017, between 1:40 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. police attended on North Front Street in relation to 7 calls for service which included one complaint of assault, 4 disturbances, and 2 trespassing incidents. In the assault complaint, one person was taken by EMS to hospital with a suspected broken nose. This investigation is continuing.
