Assault, Belleville, Ont. On the 9thof June 2014 in the early morning hours a male party entered a Dundas Street West business and threw a coffee on the male employee. Belleville Police investigated and later identified the suspect. On the 11th of June a 44yr old male from Belleville was arrested and charged with one count of assault with a weapon. He was released on a promise to appear in court for the 17th of July. The employee was not injured.


Theft from Vehicles, - Belleville Ontario  On the 11thof June 2014 Belleville Police Service investigated several reports of vehicles being entered overnight. Personal property and change was removed from the vehicles. Police are reminding owners to park in well lighted areas securing their vehicles and to remove valuables from their unattended vehicles. and if they see suspicious activity to call Police.


Weapons, - Belleville, Ontario On the 11th of June 2014 at 5:09Pm Police responded to a commercial premise on Dundas Street East for a male displaying a hatchet. Police located the male and seized the hatchet without incident. A 21yr old male from Madoc is charged with weapons dangerous and was released on a promise to appear for court July 17th.


Traffic Investigation, - Belleville On the 11th of June 2014 at 10:45Pm an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle being operated with a temporary permit. The investigation revealed that the driver was unlicensed, the plates were unauthorized and the vehicle was not insured. A 24 yr old male from Belleville was issued summonses to appear in court July 28th.
