Unnecessary Suffering to Animal

Belleville, Ontario -   On the 11th of June 2015 at 12:40 pm, Belleville Police received a call for an animal locked inside a vehicle while parked at a Bell Blvd business for an extended period of time. Upon arrival the officer noted the vehicle was locked with nearly closed windows. The officer was able to unlock the vehicle and remove the animal. A 47yr old female from Marysville is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal contrary to the Criminal Code. She was released on an appearance notice with a court date of 23 July 15.


Belleville, Ontario – On June 11, 2015 at 3:30 pm, police responded to an assault call on Charles Street.   As a result of an investigation, a 26 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with three counts of Assault and later released on a Promise to Appear and an Undertaking with a court date later in June. 

Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario – On June 11, 2015 at 8:25 pm, police responded to a residence on Wilkins Street in regards to a break and enter.  Sometime between 0900 am – 0800 pm, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole various electronics including a television set.  This investigation is continuing.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario – On June 11, 2015 at 5:56 am, police responded to Old Madoc Road in regards to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a deer.  The 46 year old male driver struck the deer and then lost control of his motorcycle causing significant damage to the motorcycle.  The driver received minor injuries and there were no charges laid as a result of the investigation.
