Missing chair and jewelry

Belleville, Ontario – On Sat. May 4th, 2013, a woman was injured while playing in a touch football tournament on field #4 at Mary Ann Sills Park. She was taken to the hospital with her belongings. Her grey canvas folding chair was left behind. This chair had cupholders built into the armrests. Inside one of the cupholders was all of her jewelry:

(a) silver ‘925' ring with a flat white pearl

(b) black onyx Tiffany and Co. ring

(c) white gold necklace with diamond pendant

(d) two white gold earrings

(e) yellow gold nose ring

Anyone with information on the lost chair or jewelry can contact the Belleville Police Service or Crimestoppers.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario –On May 11th, 2013, at 8:50 p.m. police attended on College Street East as two males were fighting. It was learned that one of the combatants had broken an apartment window. A 48 year old Belleville man was charged with Mischief. He will appear in court on June 6th, 2013.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario –On May 12th, 2013 at 2:05 a.m., police attended at 366 N. Front St. in relation to a broken window. It was learned that a male had punched the plate glass window of a business at 366 N. Front St. A 21 year old Belleville man was arrested at the scene. He required medical attention for his hand and was escorted by police to Quinte Health Care. He will appear in court on June 6th, 2013 on a charge of Mischief.

Public Intoxication

Belleville, Ontario – On May 12th, 2013, at 3:00 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a woman stumbling on Front Street. A 41 year old Belleville woman was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

Fight

Belleville, Ontario – On May 12th, 2013, at 3:15 a.m. police attended at a fight call at a family function on Harvest Crescent. Two injured males had to be taken to Quinte Health Care by EMS. Both males had their thumbs bitten during the fight. It is believed that one male bit the other's thumb. The male with the thumb injury then retaliated by biting the other male's thumb. This investigation is continuing.
